A group of representatives from the Sri Lanka Campaign to Ban Landmines (SLCBL) met with President Maithripala Sirisena on December 24 and presented recently published publications.
Following are the publications:
1. Why Post-war Sri Lanka Should Accede to the Anti-personnel Mine Ban Convention (APMBC)
2. Why Post-war Sri Lanka Should Accede to the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM) and
3. Why Sri Lanka Should Ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
Vidya Abhayagunawardena- Coordinator, Namal Weerasena -Campaigner and Prasanna Kuruppu – Advisor of SLCBL also participated at this occasion.
