- Warm welcome to President at Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic premises
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa engaged in religious observances at the historic Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy and obtained blessings of the Sacred Tooth Relic this morning (05).
The President was welcomed by the Custodian of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Diyawadane Nilame Nilanga Dela.
The President received a warm welcome from the people who came to pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic at the Temple premises. The President engaged in cordial discussion with the people and inquired into their wellbeing.
Central Province Governor Lalith U. Gamage, State Minister Dilum Amunugama and Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Ministry Secretary Professor Kapila Gunawardana were also present.
